It is the best improvement you can make to an already amazing unit. If you have a Transformer, you have got to have one of these units. This is worth 3 times what I paid for it and improves the Transformers functions beyond anything I was prepared for. The battery life is tremendous and allows me to work all day and part of another before having to recharge. I have several laptops and now I have an Android laptop that is a super computer. I use a mouse which plugs into the keyboard also. The ease of use, the control of all its functions are simply a key press. I cannot believe how much improvement the keyboard makes to an already amazing unit. Locking the Transformer so you can walk away and have it protected is simply a tough of a button. 
Now changing volume is simply 2 buttons on the keyboard. Also, it has every possible function and control on the keyboard. Do not forget that the keyboard had an additional battery enclosed. When it came in the mail, I could not get it attached fast enough. I simply had to have this item because I do a lot of typing on my Transformer.
I really did not know that they made a keyboard for it until I came across this one while looking for another item.
I really liked my Asus Transformer TF101 as it came from the factory.
